Independent Study Project 4 Brainstorm Blog

Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to my final art project in Undergrad ever :( I've been blessed by having some of the greatest artists and professors as mentors within my art college experience and I wouldn't change it for the world. Big thank you to Corrina Espinosa for all of your patience, help, and kindness over the past year, it's been an honor to work alongside you and learn from you.

Anyways! For my last Blender project, I wanted to work on more of a landscape project, as some of the other pieces I've done have been predominately character-based and I haven't had much experience with landscape. I've been scouring the internet for a cool landscape piece and I've found a few but I'm not sure yet which one I would like to do. There is one that is a stormy ocean animation that I really like as well as a snowy winter house I could do as well. I will link them both below. I am leaning more towards the stormy ocean one because that one has actual animation with it whereas the snowy winter house does not include animation but we will see! I'm interested to see how much faster I go completing these because of how in-depth the last tutorial I did was, so if I finish one pretty quickly, maybe I'll have enough time to do another. I don't know but it would be fun to see. I can't believe this is my last undergrad art project, but hopefully, in the future, I'll have more to show! There are multiple emotions arising as I'm finishing school: sadness, happiness, hope, despair, and confusion, but humility is at the forefront. I've learned so much, in art and myself but at the end of the day, I think they both go hand in hand. I can't wait to see where this project goes, and ill see ya when I'm finished!
